Roberto Salvaneschi and his brother Mauro are the third generation to run the family estate of Cascina Gasparda, alongside their mother, Patrizia, and father, Salvaneschi. Located in Monferrato Casalese (the first UNESCO protected hillside vineyards), they farm their 6 hectares of vineyards planted to Grignolino, Freisa, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Cortese. The vineyards range in age from recent plantings to vines more than 70 years old.
