🤓 Hervé Villemade took over the family’s estate vineyard in 1995. Inspired by the likes of Marcel Lapierre and Clos du Tue-Boeuf, he converted the estate to organics with a belief that organic farming and natural winemaking would express the terroir best. 70% Sauvignon Blanc / 30% Chardonnay (to abide by Cheverney Blanc law of 60-80% Sauv Blanc. Man those Frenchy’s are crazy). Sauvignon Blanc dominates with crisp acidity and charming “green” aromas/flavors, while Chardonnay provides creaminess and body.
