🤓 Geek Out: Jean Louis Chave makes some of the best Syrah in the world. His cuvee's are balanced, consistent, and can age like George Clooney! J.L. Chave Selection is his secondary label with price points we can stomach. This cuvee is a blend of young estate fruit (think: lower tannins) as well as negociant fruit from the northern corners of Saint-Joseph where the grapes are naturally fresh and graceful. While Chave's Hermitages are known to require a lot of bottle aging to reach their peak potential, the J.L. Chave Selection label is meant to drink nicely upon release. However that does not mean this wine is not suitable for your cellar. This bad larry can age for 10+ years!
