Nestled in the picturesque Italian Alps, we find the village of Chambave in the Valle d’Aosta. Marilena Voyat's vineyard boasts a breathtaking backdrop of the Alps, near the iconic Matterhorn.

The steep vineyards, untouched by phylloxera, feature ancient vines rooted in rocky soils. The estate's winemaking heritage dates back to the 1800s. Marilena inherited the reins from her father, Ezio, who tended the vines alongside his career as a casino accountant.

Embracing organic farming, Marilena meticulously tends to the vines by hand, fostering native foliage. Aging in traditional chestnut barrels adds depth to her wines. She still produces her father's cherished favorite, "La Gazella," which he named after Marilena's track nickname (she was an Italian Olympic gold-medalist). The vineyard, within walking distance of her modest home and cellar, yields a unique Moscato— dry as a bone, with aromas of straw, roses, and honey; herbaceous and with a finish of mouth-watering acidity.
